About Us

Wooffy started in 2022 in the San Francisco Bay Area with two people and one dog: Mike (Kailun Zhang), Alice (Xinyi), and Tank.

Tank’s crate was the problem. It was a cold wire cage in the middle of our living room — it looked like hardware, and it made Tank feel shut away instead of at home. We wanted a spot he’d actually choose to rest in, and one we wouldn’t want to hide.

Wooffy House

That question became Wooffy House. Circla, our first design, is an indoor dog house built like furniture: a rounded wooden frame, swappable side panels (clear acrylic or bamboo mesh), a Cozy Dog Mat, and a nameplate with your dog’s name. We design it, have it made in small batches, and ship it ourselves from the Bay Area.

Circla is made for resting and sleeping. It isn’t an escape-proof training crate, and we’ll always tell you honestly if it’s not the right fit for your dog.

The Wooffy guides

In 2026 we started the Wooffy guides — breed profiles, first-year cost breakdowns, grooming guides and puppy checklists — because choosing and raising a dog involves more guesswork than it should. Read how we make the guides and how Wooffy makes money →
